The policies outlined below are part of an ongoing conversation within the community and are formed through consensus of the members adjusted to account for the members with the most conservative feelings so that all of the members of our community feel safe.

Policies related to move in or out-of-state travel:

• Tenants must be vaccinated for the safety of the house, unless they can provide reasoning to house members that is voted on to supersede the policy, such as a medical exemption.

Guest Policies:

• Individual Guests

  • If one housemate is having multiple people over indoors, they can have 2 guests over at a time.

  • Members should alert housemates if having guests over, preferably with a few hours notice.

  • Guests who aren’t vaccinated are not allowed in the house.

• Parties

  • An estimated number of guest attendance should be approved by the house. 

• Overnight Guests

  • Guests should sleep in their host’s bedroom overnight, let members know if someone is crashing on the couch for a night. 

  • Guests staying longer than 2 nights need approval by the house.

  • All hosts should inform housemates of incoming guests.

• Unvaccinated guests

  • No unvaccinated guests should be invited indoors or outdoors to MOSAIC.

  • If someone has a medical reasoning or is too young to get a vaccine, they must be fully masked at all times if on MOSAIC grounds temporarily (such as bathroom use).
